Dr. Lipika Sahoo, is a registered Indian Patent and Trademarks Agent with 16 years of experience in academia and industry in the areas of technology, innovation & intellectual property. She holds a PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She also holds triple masters; a Master of Science from Sambalpur University, Odisha; a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore; a Post Graduate Certification in Business Management from Xavier Institute of management, Bhubaneswar and Advanced certifications from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Worldwide Academy in Patents and Patent Drafting. She is also an alumna of IIM, Bangalore, MPWE certified.
Prior to LifeIntelect, she worked with multinational companies and law firms. Dr. Shantha Shankar, Director and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Shantha Shankar, has more than 10 years of experience in patent analytics, patent drafting and strategic IP management. She has worked at the General Electric Global Research Organization where she enabled strategic IP creation in the domains of Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, and Materials Processing. She has extensive experience in training and mentoring inventors and researchers on intellectual property issues and creating intellectual property. She is a certified patent agent (US patent and trademark office equivalency exam) from General electric R & D centre. Prior to GE, she was the Principal Investigator for government funded projects at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Dr. Shantha Shankar has a Ph.D in materials science from the Indian Institute of Science.

Dr. Syam Anand is a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark office (USPTO). He holds certificates of achievements in Academic Entrepreneurship from the Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and the Office of Enterprise Development, University of Pittsburgh. Prior to his career in patent prosecution, Dr. Anand held a faculty position at the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, during which he designed novel assays to investigate DNA transactions and published seminal findings on the regulation of DNA recombination by DNA helicases.
He was funded on two National Institutes of Health (NIH, USA) investigator-initiated R21 research grants. He has attended several international conferences and spoken as an invited speaker at prestigious conferences such as the Gordon Research Conference on Chromosome Dynamics.
